Why this exists

Small-business owners keep getting sold one of two things: a $20/month chatbot subscription and the vague promise that "AI changes everything," or a $25,000 consulting engagement to "develop your AI strategy." Neither one solves the problem.

The actual problem, for almost every small business under 100 people, is this: there are five or six recurring tasks that eat hours every week, and almost all of them can be automated or assisted with tools that already exist. The bottleneck isn't capability. It's selection — knowing which tool fits which workflow, and in what order to set them up.

getaiaudit.ai exists to remove that bottleneck. You pay $197 (or $244 for 6-hour Rush). You answer ten questions. Forty-eight hours later (or six) you get a short, specific 8-page report that tells you exactly which three to seven tools to set up, in what order, with quick-start instructions for each. That's the entire product.

Who we serve

We work with small business owners and operators running 1–100 person companies, typically doing $200K–$10M in revenue. Our customers are already interested in AI — they don't need to be convinced it can help. They just don't know where to start, which tools apply, or what order to implement them in. Geographic focus is currently Arizona, Minnesota, and surrounding markets, though we audit businesses across the US.

Who runs it

getaiaudit.ai was founded by William J. Gould, a practicing attorney and multi-business operator based in Arizona. Bill has built and run service businesses, written and rewritten his own intake automations, broken and rebuilt his own CRM stack, and watched plenty of clients and friends do the same — usually the hard way.

Every audit is reviewed personally by Bill before delivery. There are no junior analysts, no content-mill writers, no offshore template-and-send operation behind this. The volume is intentionally capped so that the quality of each report stays high.

Bill holds a JD from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, an MBA from Iowa State University, and an undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin. He's admitted to practice law in Arizona and Minnesota. He also runs WJ Gould Law, a separate firm focused on Arizona first-party property insurance claims.

The principles behind every audit

Specific beats clever. A recommendation that says "use AI for your CRM" is useless. A recommendation that names the tool, the workflow it replaces, the setup time, and the per-month cost is useful. Every line of every audit aims for the second.

Real tools, not vaporware. We only recommend tools that are generally available, paid-or-free-tier accessible today, and stable enough to use in a real business. No "AI agent that's coming next quarter."

Three to seven, not thirty. The point isn't to dump every plausible tool on you. It's to identify the smallest number of tools that get you the most time back. Fewer tools means fewer integrations, fewer logins, less to break.

Bias toward boring. The best AI tool for your business is usually the boring one — Zapier, Make, ChatGPT, Fathom, Calendly with AI scheduling, a single CRM with native AI features. Not the new thing with venture funding that hasn't shipped support yet.
